Mrs. Peterson, my English teacher, has taught me since seventh grade, and immediatly we jumped into our first projects, some involving aspects of drama and art.

In seventh grade, we read a different play every month and would tell our classmates about it. One month, we created a scene from a play we had read. Another, we chose and excerpt from a play, and read it outloud in front of the class, using props such as backpacks, makeup, and blazers, all of which we found around our house.

This year, however, we are creating projects on novels such as Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, and 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Lord of the Ring, and many other classics.
